Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
SongLark may collect the following types of information depending on how you use the app:
- Basic usage data necessary for the app to function
- Location data when you use location-based features
- Account information (such as email address) when you register
SongLark does not currently use analytics, display advertising, or offer in-app purchases. The sections below describe what would apply if we introduce any of these in the future; we will update this policy before we do.
Analytics
SongLark does not currently use any third-party analytics tools. If we introduce analytics in the future, any such service (for example Firebase Analytics or Google Analytics) may collect device identifiers, usage patterns, and crash reports, used solely to improve the app experience. Please refer to the privacy policies of those services for more information once in use.
Location Data
SongLark may access your device's location to provide location-based features. Location data is only used while you are actively using the app and is never sold or shared with third parties except as required to deliver the service.
In-App Purchases
SongLark does not currently offer in-app purchases. If we introduce them in the future, purchases would be processed by the Apple App Store and/or Google Play. We would not store or handle your payment information directly — transactions would be managed by the respective platform, subject to their terms and privacy policies.
Advertising
SongLark does not currently display advertisements. If we introduce advertising in the future, our advertising partners (for example Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads, and you will be able to opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings.
Account Data
When you create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide. This data is used to authenticate you and provide personalized features. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see our Support page for instructions.
Early Access List
If you enter your email address on our homepage to ask for early access, we store that address together with the kind of device you signed up from (Android, iOS or other), the browser user-agent string that told us so, and the date. We use it for one thing: to contact you when a place in the closed test is available. It is not sold, shared, or added to a marketing list. Ask us to remove your address at any time (see our Support page) and it is deleted.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
